How do I call up the BIOS from Windows?
If the fastboot function is activated in the BIOS (UEFI), the time window for pressing the corresponding key (usually F2
for notebooks and ESC
for desktop PCs) is extremely short. However, the BIOS setup can also be opened directly from a running Windows. Proceed as follows:
Open the start menu, click on the off button and then click restart while holding down the shift key
. After a short time, Windows shows the Select Options dialogue:
Select Troubleshooting
Select Extended option
Select UEFI firmware settings
Click on Restart. Your computer now starts directly in the BIOS Setup.
