Is it possible to use Windows without Microsoft account?
If you are setting up your computer for the first time without an Internet connection, you have the option to create a local account (except Windows 11 Home Edition). Afterwards you can connect to the Internet manually.
Alternatively, you can convert your Microsoft account to a local account. Open Windows settings and go to Accounts. At Your info your Microsoft account is displayed, click on Log in with a local account instead. A window will open asking you for your current login password. Enter your password and click on Continue. Set up a local account with new credentials and password.
Please note that Microsoft requires a Microsoft account to use some features, such as Windows Hello.
