Why doesn't my computer play Ultra HD Blu-Ray discs anymore?

 

Answer

Intel processors from the Core-i-11000 (Rocket Lake) model series and newer no longer have the necessary security feature SGX (Software Guard Extensions). SGX is one of the requirements for the interface copy protection HDCP 2.2 to work.

Since Intel might remove support for SGX in new versions of drivers or utilities, older systems with Core-i-7xxx to core-i-10xxx CPUs might also be affected.
