Why does my web radio switch off when I lock my screen?

Answer

This happens because the display then switches to standby mode. You can prevent this by selecting the never setting under the power options.
You can change the energy options in the following steps:

1. You can find this setting option by first opening the Control Panel.
2. Click on Hardware and sound and then select the Energy options.
3. A new window will then open with the entry Change energy saving mode on the left-hand side.
4. Once you have selected this, you will see one / two columns for battery operation (for notebooks) and mains operation (for notebooks and desktop PCs).
5. Select the entry Never for Energy saving mode after: and Switch off screen: in the respective columns.
6. Finally, save the setting by clicking on Apply changes.

⚠️Note⚠️ Only with this setting does the monitor not switch to standby mode when you lock the screen.
