What do I do if there are pixel errors on the display?

Question

There is a pixel error on the display, is this a warranty claim?

Answer

Due to the manufacturing process, up to two pixel errors (distributed over the display area) are tolerated, which corresponds to ISO standard 9241 (pixel error class II).
Details about the pixel error classes and a pixel error table can be found here: Pixel error classes
Here is an example on a display with Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels ≙ 2.073 million pixels):
For error class II, a maximum of two pixels must be permanently lit or permanently black. There may be a maximum of ten defective subpixels (RGB basic colors that make up a pixel).
