How do I turn Fast Startup off or on in Windows 10 and Windows 11?

Open the search field with the Windows key + q. Type control and start the Control Panel from the hit list. Click on Power Options and then on the link Choose what the power buttons do.

In the next dialog, uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended). If the entry is deactivated, click on Some settings are not available at the moment.
