The biometric authentication system Windows Hello requires special hardware that is not installed in every device. Not just any webcam can be used for facial recognition, especially when it comes to cameras.
You can find out whether your device is suitable for Hello as follows:

1. Press the Windows + i key combination to open the Windows settings.
2. Click on Accounts and then on Login options on the left.
3. Windows Hello will show you whether this login option is available.
