@BlindWarrior Quick update on the solution: I reinstalled Windows completely in Intel RST mode first. After that, I was able to successfully switch to AHCI by using the well-known safe boot method (bcdedit). This is the guide I followed: https://superuser.com/questions/1529049/how-to-change-safely-storage-controller-mode-from-rst-to-ahci-in-windows-10 After switching, the system now runs stable in AHCI mode. It seems that the previous installation/configuration became inconsistent after resizing the partition, and could not be repaired directly. Thanks for the suggestions!
