Hi @dovydasteds , we contacted GBT and are still waiting for response,so that I can´t promise you the publishing date of the new version. Generally you don´t lose your warranty updating drivers or other software related components of your machine, but when it´s about updating the bios version we have to provide the disclaimer, that MEDION does not accept any responsibility for damage or lost of data, caused by the execution of this update. very easy to take these laptops apart. the speakers sit insome moulded slots in the casing. Make sure they're sitting in their correctly. i dont have any photos but its very simple to see if they are installed correctly. When closing the laptop back up, make sure they are sitting in their positions as they aren't fastened down. The speakers, like most laptop speakers are poor quality. use headphones or external speakers if you want good quality audio. even airpods will sound much better

Hi @airich , providing the Bios file is noit necessary, but we asked to provide us the 8-digit-MSN article numer (like 1002xxxx), which is placed on the backside of the housing,to identify the machine and ensure to have the right Bios to be sent to you. Cheers Major ToM

Hello @gezzafc Unfortunately I can't say whether a newer chipset/firmware will change the situation; A test will show that. But a moderator would have to take care of that, if there is one. You still have two PCIEX1 slots, one of which is definitely covered/blocked by the thick graphics card, but the other should be freely accessible. Hi @Darious_M , here´s another shot, I included the files you need to update the "bios" via the device manager. +++Installation+++ 1.Download the Bios Update 2. Unzip the downloaded fil 00_Bios_x680x_fw.zip to a folder on your hard drive 3. Open up the dev manager, go to Firmware, System Firmware and choose the option "Update driver" (see pic) 4. Refer to the folder wher you unzipped the downloaded file and the update process will start immediately. Feedback very appreciated Cheers Major ToM

Hi @FlkueNoob , normally I´d suggest you to run the MEDION diagnostics app, but if the freezes also happen with the unit back in factory settings und with or without windows updatesinstalled, I suppose a certain hardware failure, which only can be solved by a repair center. Of copurse this is not normal, but unfortunately happens from time to time. Where did you exactly ordfer the unit? Cheers Major ToM

Leider ist keine Lösung in Sicht. Daher werde ich die Alarmanlage durch ein anderes System ersetzen. Wer kann 11 Tür-/Fensterkontakte, 1 Bewegungsmelder, 1 Erschütterungssensor, eine Fernbedienung sowie die Alarmsirene gebrauchen? Alle Komponenten waren zum Glück nicht angemeldet und können somit weiterverwendet werden. Für 20 EUR plus Versand sind diese zu haben. Schade, Medion!

So weit, so gut. Kleines Problem habe ich von Anfang an schon, und bekomme es nicht gelöst: Die USB Anschlüsse verlieren ab und an den Kontakt. Wie so ein Wackelkontakt. Zeitweise ist ständig ON/OFF/ON/OFF usw..... Hab schon alle Karten und Verbindungen nachgedrückt, Softwareseitig sind keine Fehler sichtbar bzw wird nix angezeigt. Es handelt sich um die USB 3.2 auf der Rückseite. Mit denen auf der Vorderseite und den USB 2.0 habe ich keine Probleme. Was könnte ich hier noch machen?
