How do I quickly find out whether my Windows is running in UEFI or BIOS mode?

The MSInfo32.exe programme available under all current Windows versions can be used for this purpose.
Call up the Execute dialogue with Windows key + r. Enter msinfo32 and confirm with ENTER.
MSInfo32 displays the information directly in the start window behind BIOS mode.

This computer is running in UEFI mode.

A conventional BIOS is referred to by MSInfo32 as a previous version.
