Hi there, my touchpad has stopped working on my notebook but a USB mouse still works ok. Using Windows 10 so i'm unsure of how to update or install a driver. Could anybody help?

Thanks

Thanks for replying. There are 2 entries for HID Compliant Mouse in Device Manager and I've tried updating both. The touchpad still doesn't work - have you any ideas?

Well, there you go. It was indeed Fn + f7.

Thanks ever so much for your help @Datwozza @

On the off chance that your PC doesn't highlight a touchscreen show, you will require a mouse to restore a debilitated touchpad.
