LAPTOP MEDION AKOYA MD62034

I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade RAM from 16 Gb to 32 Gb for the model MD62034.

Kind regards.

@JoseAlberto  @RAZZ

There is only one notebook  with this given  MD 62034 number.

So MSN should be MSN 3003 0326.

The specs for the memory  states the following:

  • Memory: 2x 8192 MB DDR4 SO-DIMM (PC4-25600 / 3200 MHz)(2/2 covered; 16 GB

 This is the maximum Medion tested

Sometimes some Notebooks  can  take more memory in size.  But this would be a trial from your side. And indeed I doubt it for this notebook, because it  means you would have to double the module size per slot.

I had seen the official information but I thought that it was a bit strange that it was not possible to upgrade Ram to 32Gb.

Thats very nice from your side!  . Then you should have said so, and should have just asked for verifiication.

In this way you waste time of other users.

Hi @JoseAlberto

Please can you confirm the 8 digit MSN number? (found underneath the unit on a sticker)

With this I can correctly identify the model and check RAM specs

thanks

@Fishtown

Und was bedeutet SNB?

bye, daddle

Many thanks for the notes @daddle and @Fishtown .

There is indeed a variant of MEDION AKOYA S15449 (MD 62034) with the MSN 30033799.
We have now also added this to the database.
As a result, the specs can now also be found on our Service Homepage.

SNB is short for SlimNoteBook (i.e. a notebook with a low profile).

@Rex

Thanks for that.With the same MD-number 62034.  The specs are identical to them the other notebook with  MSN Nummer 30030326: shows. For Memory it's the same..

< 2x 8192 MB DDR4 SO-DIMM (PC4-25600 / 3200 MHz) (2/2 covered; 16 GB max.) >

@JoseAlberto

So my advise in Post 3 is still valid for all those SNBs (😉) with thre two known MSN numbers.

Cheers, daddle
