My MEDION X40 SW (MD 20040) robot vacuum cleaner reports error S4, what can I do?

If the robot vacuum cleaner X40 SW gives the error S4 (DE: Fehler S4: Sauggebläse / EN: Error S4: Defect of suction motor) in operating mode, which can also occur via the voice output in the MEDION LIFE+ app (Download in the Apple Store / Google Play Store), this can be rectified by updating the device firmware to version V0.3.7.
The update can only be carried out via the MEDION LIFE+ app.

⚠️Note⚠️ To find out the currently installed firmware version, open the settings in the MEDION LIFE+ app of your X40 robot vacuum cleaner by clicking on the corresponding icon in the top right-hand corner and select the option Check for firmware update.

After successfully updating the device firmware to version V0.3.7 and then restarting the robot vacuum cleaner, the error message no longer appears.
