Repair Services for Medion Laptops

Hi - I have a "ERAZER Beast X25 (MD 62308) UK" and the screen backlight has failed. The display still works, and I can see the image if i shine a light on it. Also I can use it with external displays.

I cannot find any references to an "out of warranty" repairs service:

1) does Medion have approved repair services?

2) If not is there another service which can be recommended?

3) Is self-repair doable for someone who has built PCs and repasted a laptop or two?

if you want to do it yourself:
In the Service Shop you will find an LCD display MSN 40077398.

Most front display frames are simply clipped on and easy to remove. Only remove the display ribbon cable after disconnecting the battery.

There are enough example videos on YouTube.

Approx £200 for a failed LED backlight?
Is the screen unit unrepairable?

Medion has no network of approved repairers?
