About mcginnie

Hi - I have a "ERAZER Beast X25 (MD 62308) UK" and the screen backlight has failed. The display still works, and I can see the image if i shine a light on it. Also I can use it with external displays. I cannot find any references to an "out of warranty" repairs service: 1) does Medion have approved repair services? 2) If not is there another service which can be recommended? 3) Is self-repair doable for someone who has built PCs and repasted a laptop or two?
