Hi all,
I have a Medion Erazer Scout E10 17" FHD 144Hz i5 GeForce RTX 3050 Gaming Laptop, and I've just upgraded from the 8GB to 32GB using Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz (2x 16GB).
BIOS shows 16GB, Windows 11 shows 16GB, but CPUz shows both 16GB modules.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Looks for BIOS update, but Insyde don't make it easy it seems.

This often is the solution. Reseating the modules. Maybe they didn't have sufficient contact.
After reseating them twice they were fully recognized.
Cheers, daddle

OK, so that failed completely.
Odd it uses a Windows Driver to do the BIOS update, which initially failed due to invalid root certificate. Bypassed this via reboot in Win11 to disable enforcing digital certs, it then installed, but nothing happened. Waited for awhile, rebooted and BIOS has not changed, same versoin.
Is there a BIOS update tool to use for this? Insyde's BIOS update does not work.

I've not found a solution to this, so any help?
How can I update the BIOS as the official way is not working 😞

I have found mentions to Insyde H2OFFT tool, which I cannot get.
I've also found mentions to "InsydeFlash.exe" tool, but no official download, so no way I'm running anything third-party!
Does my laptop even support 32GB or RAM? Currently, it seems not, and a BIOS update might not resolve the issue.
I've never had such a problem updating the BIOS for a motherboard, what a pain!

Yes, this failed as mentioned in the beginning of this thread. It runs and does nothing, nada!

You didn't mention inf install; you spoke undefined about a Windows driver. Seeing how many people post here without precise descriptions, it could have been anything.
And in case you go on posting, we usually address the other person and send some greetings, including thanks for the effort the other takes
