I have another post, re trying to fix a gpu problems that's come up when I moved to w11.
The bios is original , I think 2019,
The super user on the other thread suggested I start a new thread asking about bios and possible updating it
So I'll need to find a few bits of info, what do I need to find on the laptop ?
Thanks

The Superuser from the other thread also suggested you should try to do a system Update in DeviceManager. But you didn't comply.

Sorry @daddle
Thought you wanted to separate the bios and the w11 post . Or have yiu changed your mind?
Anyway, the webbmoderator has come on and said this machine does not support w11, so that posters closed ,
If we coukd stay on thread please,
Do you have any suggestions re updating the bios, at 2019, it's quiet old
I know that although the are sold as German machines , and having worked many years in darmstadt , I do like German engineering , re use, recycle and service culture, these machines might share a common motherboard , so wonder if there is a bios update,

Sorry, but you are somehow mixed up. I gave some Info about Bios Update inside the Device Manager. But references to a BIOS update via the Device Manager do not mean a change of opinion.
But if a Bios update exist for the Bios of your PC dated from 2019 is independent from installing Win 11 or not.
So lets ask the moderator @Andi if exists any update for your machine, a P15811. But first you should state the MSN number.
It's 8 digits long, starts with 3003.... , and is located on a sticker underneath.

Thank you @daddle
Yes this post is about does anyone have route to update the bios.
I've searched the medion website , no update ,
Someone on another post about another question on a different pc, said that medion shares motherboards , and they found a working bios update on another site !
Sounded little risky to me, but am very aware about the number of bios security bugs in general that have been identified and fixed since 2019 by the big bios companies, was wondering what the situation is.
It's a p15811 laptop,
The serial number is just about readable, there is another label, but im guessing that was a thermal print, and is totaly blank now.
The number on the laptop
ML-210008
