MS-7728 Wake-On-LAN

Hello,

I'm having a problem where there's no option to enable Wake-On-LAN in my BIOS. I also purchased an internal network card (TP-Link TG-3468).

It's also possible that the motherboard doesn't support it... I hope someone can help me.

If it isn't implemented in your actual Bios, it is not possible to use WOL.

Set deep S4/S5 to disabled in the BIOS under "Advanced" " Power Management Setup"

If you can’t find any Wake-On-LAN option in your BIOS, it’s possible that your motherboard simply doesn’t support it. Some boards only offer settings like “Power on by PCI-E” or “Resume by LAN,” and if none of these appear, WOL may not be available. Your TP-Link TG-3468 network card does support Wake-On-LAN, but it still requires BIOS-level support to function. The best next step is to check your motherboard’s manual or provide the exact model so we can confirm whether WOL is supported and see if there are alternative power or PCI-E settings you might need to enable.

I'm getting pretty fed up now. In post 2 I gave the correct answer. Then these smart guys come along and have to chime in with their two cents.. And just so they can post something themselves. It's almost becoming a pattern.

As for the new participant, he has a strange alias. I wouldn't be surprised if he  added an unauthorized link later while using his editing rights.

Du vergleichst einen anderen Rechner mit anderem Bios- und LAN-Chip. Wenn es nicht im Bios (und im Netzteil über standby-versorgung) angelegt ist, hilft das nichts.  Es fehlen die Punkte  EUP Function und  Resume by   PME.

Des weiteren hatte  ich in Post 2 in Conditional sinngemäß geschrieben: " Falls das Bios WOL nicht unterstützt..( bzw es nicht im Bios implementiert ist)"

Und meine Nerven sind bestens. Da brauche ich keine Schützenhilfe. Etwas arrogant diese Reaktion  von dir,  oder?

And you know it's a different computer and a different BIOS, even though the original poster didn't mention it. Impressive.

Since you know the computer and the BIOS, why don't you tell us its name?

Lerne du mal die korrekte  Bedeutung eines Konjunktivs in der deutsche Sprache. Ich habe nicht  vorher gesagt (predicted), sondern nur die Möglichkeit angedeutet.  Spammende User benutzen oft  diese Art der Aliasnamengestaltung in einer 3er Gruppierung.

Fällt einem argumentativ nichts mehr ein, operiert man  mit falschen Vergleichen. Bedenklich.

Da Ich schon wie gesagt meine Feststellung conditional gemacht habe (heißt bedingt, da dies anscheinend nicht bekannt), und der User nicht Erfolg  meldete, es ginge doch (bzw er hatte schon im Eingangspost gesagt, er finde keine Einstellung für WOL im Bios), wird es auch mit WOL nicht funktionieren.

Dein eigenes Argument, wir wüssten doch nicht genau welches Board der User habe, richtet sich aber um so mehr gegen dich selber.  Dein Heranziehen eines Posts aus einem anderem Thread, also mit einer Lösung für ein Board, von dem du aber selber nur  voraussetzt, es sei das Gleiche. 

Denn du unterstellst mit deinem Link in Post 3 , es handele sich um dieselbe Boardversion, selbes Bio und die gleiche WOL fähige Netzwerkkarte.

Dazu dein Tipp mit Umstellung von S4 /S5, unkritisch aus dem Post von Andi im anderem Thread übernommen. Das ist doch Alles zu deiner eigenen Aussage konträr,  wir wüssten doch gar nicht welches Board der User hier im Thread habe. Sieh deinen Text:

Schon wieder so eine manipulative Verdrehung, man könnte auch bewusste Falschaussage  oder sogar an Lüge denken, denn ich habe nicht gesagt ich wüsste das (siehe oben). 

Und dann noch versuchen das ins Lächerliche zu ziehen trifft dich doch selber. Merkst du das nicht?
