Medion Service App claims it hasn´t internet

Hi,

In order to troubleshoot my MEDION ERAZER X7738 D on Windows 10 21H1 that hibernates or reboots with no apparent reason i've tried to install the Medion Service App but it claims that it has not internet when it's no true. The only possibility it's to load it offline... but then you cannot do a complete diagnose.

How can I make the app to detect internet. The PC is capable of doing a windows update without any problem or navigate through internet, but for some reason Medion Service App claims it hasn´t internet.

Thanks in advance,

Alb

Hi @alb_ruiz ,

please uninstall the medion service app completely and then re-download and re-install it.

If problem persists, then please reset your network connection as advised here

Gehringer

Hi @alb_ruiz ,

would you be willing to backup your data and perform a full reset of your unit?

That should reinstall all the drivers and end this compatibility issue.

Gehringer

Thank you @Gehringer,

sorry for not having given feedback before. I've been busy.

As you sugest reinstalling windows 10 might be the solution but before I wanted to try other options.

I upgraded de Realtek net and the AMD Chipset drivers and now the system doesn't reboots unexpectedly any more 🙂

All the applications seem to work right, but for some reason Medion Service App doesn't load any more, neither online or offline. It stays in background and if you try to execute it again it says it cannot be executed mora than once.

Thank you again and best regards,

Alb

Hi @alb_ruiz ,

when you receive the message saying  that it cannot be executed more than once, please open your task manager, look for the Medion app program in the list of apps running and close all of its instances.

Once it is done, you should be able to run it.

Regards,

Gehringer
