@Squowse    It is not necesariily to activate the Windos Kamera App. Youcam and others do the same job.   Check first in Bios for I/O access,, with my Laptop bios it is on the page Security -->  I/O Interface -->  USB  Interface. I can  lock the camera access separately. the same with Bluetooth Card Reader etc, The same for  LAN or WiFi     And the question is if you activated the camera in Windows Settings. Go to settings --> search for camera -> Privacy settings  --> activate "Allow acccess to camera"; and second  on the same page -->  "Allow apps to  access your camera".   Bye, daddle   Edit: Typo ...
