Hi, The battery on this laptop is not being recognised correctly.... Let me explain.... The laptop is behaving as if it is a desktop pc. Remove the power cord and the laptop immediately dies. Within Windows 11 device manager - there is a "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery". It is possible to uninstall this "device" when in safe mode and it is re-recognised on the next full reboot. In the Erazer Control Panel, in the section for Device Information / System Monitor there is a nice red box that states "Battery Error . No communication between system and battery" There is no battery / power icon in the windows task tray and therefore no indication of any battery charging or not. I've reset the BIOS to "defaults". I've done a Windows system recovery/restore from fresh - with and without the driver pack from the Medion website. Sounds like a dead battery or faulty motherboard - although the laptop was bought new only 6 months ago - it would be very unfortunate to have a hardware failure like this so soon - surely? What have I missed? Anything? Does anyone else experience the same? Thanks in advance!
