I updated the bios to latest version i could find: N.1.18MED06 Installed latest app center: 5.45.9.0   The app center seems to be a bit wonky. There is no icon / starter I can find, can only start it by running the installer and select Launch instead of Reinstall This is not a big issue though.   I attempt to control core voltage (attempting undervolting), and the settings don't seem to have any effect that I could measure. The changes are persisted are reboot.   Reinstalled control center, it doesn't make a difference.   Edit: it started to work somehow.. maybe some restarts helped? limiting package power clearly works and ia voltage offset is picked up by hwinfo too (although it seems to have surprisingly negligible effect)  ... Hi!   The Medion Erazer X40 beast (msn 30035242) I got has a huge 330w Chicony charger.   I'm wondering whether it's possible to use a lighter charger for traveling.. Or at the very least I need a second unit to be placed in my office. What chargers is this laptop compatible with? Can I use any 19.5V charger that has the same DC plug or does it insist some on some specific charger?   I tried to charge it over usb-c, but sadly that doesn't work on this model, not even for slow charging.     ... The display works perfectly on windows at 240 hz.   I'd also like to use Linux on it, where the refresh rate is stuck at 60hz. The distro is Linux Mint (based on 22.04 ubuntu), latest possible kernel I could find (6.1), latest nvidia driver (525 - googling indicated this may be a problem with Nvidia Optimus).
