Excellent, thanks for the help. I can imagine they will use the same universal BIOS. Just need to check if they use the same 230w Power Adapter. Hopefully the motherboard design is identical with the same power delivery. Thanks again @Fishtown.

Does anyone know if the BIOS and motherboard power delivery on the Erazer x15809 would support an i9-9980hk? I know it's BGA and it'll need resoldering on. The i9 has the same TDP as the i7-9750h currently in the laptop and power usage is very similar according multiple sources. Any help would be greatly appreciated so thanks in advance.
