Does anyone know if the BIOS and motherboard power delivery on the Erazer x15809 would support an i9-9980hk? I know it's BGA and it'll need resoldering on.
The i9 has the same TDP as the i7-9750h currently in the laptop and power usage is very similar according multiple sources. Any help would be greatly appreciated so thanks in advance.

Hello @FunkyMonkey95 and welcome
You have an x15809 / MDxxxxx / MSNxxxxxxxx (Tong Fang TFG GK5CQ7Z) with an Intel Core i7 Mobile i7-9750H 2.6 GHz.
There was also an x15809 / MD61529 / MSN30026787 (Tong Fang TFG GK5CQ7Z) with an Intel Core i9 Mobile 9980HK 2.4 GHz .
So it should work.
