Hi @alanossher welcome to the forum ! Can you please let us know the MSN number of your product? It is an 8-digits number that you can find printed on a label underneath it. It usually starts by 100, 300 or 500. Also, it is not clear which battery the error message refers to: CMOS or regular battery. As far as I can see, this unit is equipped with one main fan which is accessible by removing the maintenance lid.
You may try and clean the fan, which makes perfect sense as this notebook is about 6-7 years old.
