Hello,
My Medion Defender P10 (NH77Dx) is experiencing numerous power offs with an error in the event logs showing this:
A corrected hardware error has occurred.
Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)
Primary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x1D:0x6
Secondary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x0:0x0
Primary Device Name:PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06B6&SUBSYS_50F31558&REV_F0
Secondary Device Name:
I've updated all drivers, updated all windows, wiped the laptop and reinstalled everything fresh but still get the same error. When I look online, I am forwarded to a number of posts stating that it can be resolved by updating the bios. I've looked through the forums and found a version for another customer for the defender P10 however when I go to use it, it states that it is not for my notebook pc.
Could you help and point me in the direction of the correct BIOS update?
Current BIOS: INSYDE Corp. 1.07.02RME1_00016, 04/03/2021
SMBIOS version: 3.2
BIOS Mode: UEFI
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Kind Regards,
Rich

Bumping doesn't help, if you do not provide the MSN number of your PC. It is on a sticker underneath on the case bottom, or on your gúarantee card. Or you can check with msinfo32.exe in --> Win tab plus R .
In the line System SKU the last 8 digits are the MSN number.
Bye, daddle
