BIOS UPDATE - B550A4-EM

Hello everyone,

I am seeking assistance to update the BIOS on my MEDION system. Below are all the important details about my hardware and current BIOS version to help identify the correct update:

- BIOS Version and Date: 550A4WOX.105 (11/13/2019)
- BaseBoard Manufacturer: MEDION
- BaseBoard Model Number: B550A4-EM
- BaseBoard Version Number: 1.0
- MSN: 20067068 i think

Hi Kiraa your given MSN is wrong. You should tell us the MD .number as well. The MSN of your PC usually is on a sticker underneath the bottom of the case.

Or just execute msinfo32.exe (Win Tab + R), and in the Line System-SKU on the first  page the last 8 digits are usually the MSN number of your PC.

Where from  did you get the MSN  20067068? This is normally the Board V. 3.00? Did you read it from the white small sticker on the board, mostly next to the RAM modules?

yea sorry i looked at the white note next to the RAM, The MSN is: 10023416

We have to ask a Moderator, eg @Major_ToM , if there is a newer Bios  for the mainboard  ECS B550A4-EM 3X00   MSN  20067068 than the installed Bios version: 

-->   550A4WOX.105 (11/13/2019).

Hi Major I get a bit mixed up, because on the board it says BaseBoard Version Number: 1.0

Now there are a  B550A4-EM, B550A4-EM 2X00  and  B550A4-EM 3X00.

Which Bios for which board?

I have for instance a B550A4-EM 2X00 MSN  20066891 with the  Bios Version W0X 1.04. ROM date 16.10.2019

You gave me then to update the link for  "00_Bios_550a4-em_v1_108.zip" , ROM date  05.02.2021 which I did not install because of the irritating naming.

There also is a Bios "00_Bios_550a4-em_v2.zip" with the ROM  550A4W0X.214

ROM date 31.08.2021.

 Which Bios is the correct one for the PC E32006 (MD 34260)  MSN 10023416 with the the board MSN  20067068?
