Hi everyone,
bought a MEDION Notebook E6247 on Amazon but the Notebook is missing power supply. So far I found out this needs a 65W 3,42A 19V charger but I'm having troubles finding the dimensions of the power supply's pin that goes into the Notebook.
Can someone please help with that info or even better send a link to a compatible power supply I can buy on Amazon or somewhere else?
Would really appreciate your help on this matter.
Thank you!

I found this one for exemple, but nor sure the charger's pin has compatible dimensions, 2.5/5.5, would that work? Thank you

Hello @bublik and welcome
I hope the device works.
good that you ask
There are different versions of the E6247 device, so please be sure to state the MSN number.
you refer to the amazon page in Italian, the device there has a different plug, for example
E6247 / MSN30031867 edit:Number
PSUP Chicony A18-065N3A P5 3 Pin 65W / MSN40073024
DC plug dimension is 3.5*1.35*11mm in = + out = -

Hi @bublik
you can request the power pack in the medion service shop with the MSN number: 40073024 (on request/ not in stock)
there is another one (belongs to an E16401):
Chicony A18-065N3A P2 3 Pin 65W / MSN40074990 / DC plug dimension is 3.5*1.35*11mm in = + out = -
that has a replacement article: MSN40082177
(though I haven't figured out the difference between P5 and P2 yet)
or order it online from a supplier, for example here:(including power supply cable)

Good day @Fishtown
Sorry to keep bothering you.
That plug 3.5 x 1.35 x 11mm doesn't fit, I bought a multi-plug power supply and tried all plugs, that doesn't fit.
This is the power supply, none of the plugs fits 😞

Sorry, now in english translation:
Then don't buy the cheapest stuff. Also the listinmg also mentions a 3.5/1.35.
The Medion power supply already recommennded by Fishtown, MSN: 40082177 fits, the technical data are the same (Chicony Chicony A18-065N3A without I/O switch), also the connector dimensions, and it is available.
The different P number is only due to a different production cycle.

Thanks for the reply!
Not being cheap, 30 euros is reasonable for a power supply, do they ship to Italy from the Medion ecommerce website?
I'm just trying to understand that dimension plug as I know for sure 1.35/3.5 doesn't fit, where I can see the dimension plug for the product at the link you and @Fishtown sent me?
Thank you for helping me out with this issue!

In your Link it says something around 22,99 € ? You can not count the postage fee.
But this is not the point.
The measurements for the orig. power supply plug are given in the Medion Database, and definitely for your Notebook.
Or you trust us, or leave it. We can not give you a link to the Medion Database, but we can read! 😉
But you seemingly not 🙂 : the given measurements are 3.5 mm outer diameter for (-), and 1.5 mm inside (+) for the pin in the charging socket of your Notebook. Not 1.5 / 3.5 mm.
Copied from the database: "DC plug dimension is 3.5*1.35*11mm"
This Link for the charger you could give the Italian division of Medion to order it.
Cheers, daddle

I'm trusting you guys and I wanted to thank you for providing useful info.
Maybe a language issue as I'm not a native English-speaker but my question is still the same:
I do have a 3.5 mm outer diameter for (-), and 1.5 mm inside (+) plug in my hands already but that does not fit the power supply socket on the Medion laptop.
That's why I'm reiterating the question, that plug would not fit so I would waste time and money.
Once I identify the proper plug, it would be easier for me to find one fully compatible power supply, whether on the Medion shop or somewhere else.
Hope this clarifies.
Thank you!
