Hi everyone! As the title suggests, I'm having this problem.
About a week ago, I used Cyberlink Power Recover via F11 to restore my computer to the OEM version (specifically, 22H2). Then, using the update assistant (Windows Update couldn't find any updates), I updated to 25H2.
I subsequently downloaded the updated drivers for my Arc730m and the integrated graphics card from the website (without doing a clean install), but Windows Update always downgrades them to a very old version.
I've tried wushow Hide and ddu, which has an option to block driver updates, but nothing seems to work. Do you have any suggestions?

Yes. But first please tell us the MSN number of your PC. It's on a sticker underneath the bottom of the case
Redo the F11 Installation, and wait for Windows bringing the Updates. This will take some time, with hundreds millions of PC still using Windows 10 (or 11)
Edit: Following the manual there are only Windows
To speed up , you can make an USB Stick (min 8 GB) with the MediaCreationTool for Windows 10 or 11, and do an Inplace Upgrade. The stick contains the newest Windows Version.

(Load Windows, insert the USB stick and start the setup.exe on the stick inside Windows )
And also wait for Windows to bring up eventually driver Updates. Have patience
If you did use Cyberlink Power Recover, there should be no need to reinstall drivers by yourself.
Or did you change any hardware?

Hi, sorry for the late reply: this is my MSN code: MSN30034647
The laptop has Windows 11, and the problem is that Windows Update automatically installs old video drivers. When I manually update them with the drivers provided by Intel, Windows Update automatically downgrades to those old drivers, causing problems with some games and software, and others won't even start because they're almost 4 years old.
I'll explain everything I did:
- Formatted with F11 using Power Recovery
- Windows Update installed all available drivers and updates.
- Using the update assistant, I updated the installed version 22H2 (so a version that's been around for years) to version 25H2 (I use the update assistant because Windows Update no longer finds updates of this type for that version).
- I checked for other updates
And then I downloaded the updated drivers from the Intel website for the two video cards, but Windows Update then promptly downgraded the drivers to an older version, which, as already mentioned, is causing me problems because it's been around for years.
What can I do to get out of this nightmare?

The manual on page 30 reads resetting the Notebook to it's Factory Settings you have to make use of the Windows Recovery Options.
Is Cyberlink Power Recovery nowadays part of the Restore options in Windows 11? Or on this notebook?
Please post a screenshot of the diskmanagement --> Win Tab plus R --> diskmgmt.msc Enter
Especially of the under half, the graphic part. You can use the Windows tools for a screen cutout, and just paste it into the Text.
For Cyberlink Power Recover there must be an image in a folder Recover on a second partition or disk.
Did you install Cyberlink Power Recover yourself and saved an image of the newly bought Notebook?
Or is Cyberlinks Power Recover preinstalled, and only has to be started inside Win RE?
Is there an App PowerRecover inside Win 11?

Hi, Power Recover is preinstalled, and there's also a recovery partition, and you can boot it via F11 as described in the Italian manual.
My problem, however, is another one: Windows Update downgrading the video drivers, and I don't know how to fix it.

Strange, in the german and english manual it isn't said so. And in the Italian version either, called for with your MSN number.
Look here: https://bda.medion.com/bda_x10_major_it.pdf
or download in the Service portal:

About your driver problem I do not know. Possibly your NB ist to old for modern games, or the graphic is to weak.
Edit:
Did you see the Bios Update on the service page:

There are two graphic chips in the system:
The dedicatet Intel Arc should be good enough.
Did you activate both cards? Check in Bios if the video (VGA) settings are IGD (Intel Graphic Device) is set only - this is the one in the Processor , or Hybrid or the dedicated Intel Arc is marked as standalone?
Second check in the Video software (I guess like with Nvidia there is an Intel Video Software to manipulate the settings), and which setting for the graphic chip is activated or preferred.
