hi, I have a problem with my Medion Akoya P7618 (MD98580), I downloaded and flashed the last bios from medion website (http://www.medion.com/de/service/_lightbox/treiber_details.php?did=10611), and now the wifi and external graphics card (GT540M) don't work anymore, how I can fix the problem or where I can download the orginal BIOS for the laptop?
Thanks.

Can you dump your BIOS v009 for me?

Very nice program!
I started it and the mask gives exact same Sizes, Core Version, Project Version,FW-ID and FW- GUID as in your Light-Box screenshot.
Just in case, please tell me/us here how to flash it back properly
But I don't think it's a Bios-Problem. Thousands downloads, and nobody complaint about it so far! Only you and after you did a complete Reinstall, and before a Win 10- Upgrade! Maybe Win 10 messes something up within the Bios! But a reflash of the "new" bios 00B should help then.
Why not recover from Recover _Partition. Don't you have the Recover-files anymore?
So there must be some "trick" for the device-manager being able to see the second graphic-card for Installing / better said assigning the Nvidia-drivers.
That is what I asked the mods here Yesterday; an answer can earliest be given on monday.

Yeah definitely BIOS 00B caused this problem, @daddle has send me his dumped BIOS 009 and I replaced the .ROM image with the tool AMIUPC v1.07 in M10H100B.exe then I flashed it, now the gpu working.
Medion must remove 00B update or fix it.
@SmiLoDon I can send you the flash tool so you can try or you wait that madion fix it.
@daddle many many many many thanks
I will install now win10 to see if it work also.
edit:
win10 installed without problem, windows update install all driver correctly

Hi busa, what do you mean with 'don't work anymore'? I guess the OS is still booting. How did you recognize that wifi and gfx are out of order? Are there unknown devices or errors in device manager?
These or more detailed infos would be very helpful.
Greetings - Frog

I use win10 and it boot normally, in device manager the Centrino Wifi looks fine but I can't enable it, when I try to enable the Wifi they switch back to off http://i.imgur.com/KESloVG.png, the Wifi LED light also not work http://i.imgur.com/G0qKvJU.png, only on BIOS boot they is on for 3-4 seconds.
The GFX totally failed windows can't detect it anymore, you can see on first image, they display it as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I noticed after the BIOS flash that the Medion fast boot option is not presend anymore on BIOS boot.
Before I flashed the BIOS everything worked fine, I already tried to reinstall OS, but the problem is not solved, here is the BIOS info http://i.imgur.com/j7pqF6z.png
Thanks for your answer.

Did you switch your WiFi off by using the Fn-F7 Key-Combination? Switch it on using same keys.
Why do you have a Second WIreless_Adapter installed? Just for testing because the internal WiFi didn`t work?
The Picture off your Wireless "switched off" must be from the Realtek-USB-Adapter; may be there is some driver-interference between onboard and external WiFi-Adapter.
By the way, if you switch the onboard Intel-Centrino WiFi by the named keys off, it still shows "Active" in the Device-Manager.
So please take your USB-WiFi-dongle off; and try the inbuild on only after activation by pressing / holding Fn-Key and additionally press F7-Key.
And it seems your gfx-Driver for the Nvidia Geforce GT540 is not properly assigned (or not installed at all!)
> Double-click in your Device-Manager on the >Microsoft Basic Adapter,
> Tab on Register (Tab?) Drivers
> Driver updating
> Take Software from a List of Drivers on this Computer
> Choose Driver for This Hardware from a List on this Computer
> In the window below should the Nvidia Geforce GT540 entry appear [if you did Install the drivers before from the Medion Service-Page, or from Drive D > Drivers]
< (2. For Alternativ unmark "Show compatible Hardware")
> Mark GT 540 entry (2. or search for Nvidia)
> Go ahead with tabbing Enter
> Drivers fpr the GT540 should be assigned.
Some of the menu-entries names might differ a little, don`t know the exact english terms.
Please give feed-back.
regards, daddle

Yes I use WIreless_Adapter so I can connect to the internet.
I removed the additional WIreless Adapter and tried Fn-F7 Key-Combination nothing happens,I followed your instruction fot the GT540 and it does not work http://prntscr.com/9f9tem
now I see the sound also not working http://prntscr.com/9f9u4g is there any way to restore the orginal BIOS or to install other version?

Did you go for Win 10? This you should have mentioned. Sorry, just overread the line in your post about Win 10.
And if yes, did you make a complete Shutdown before testing new Drivers; you have to choose " Start your computer a new"", not just "power down".
And I think your Bios is the newest; so reflash it. I am still on Version 009, while you have 00B, I guess. This latest Bios should have optimized your Energy-Management. The old one only @Frog will be able to supply it.
But I do not think the older Bios will do better!
And about Sound, no idea. It says your Speaker or Headphones are unplugged. So it does not find the internal Speakers?
Try the orig. "Realtek_6.0.1.6237\" or may there are some newer for Win8 on the Medion-Service-Download-Page.
I should always try first, if Windows10-Update delivers newer Driver which don't work, the older Win7 or Win8 drivers first.
And you have to give Windows 10, some time to update your Drivers. Sometimes a little bit later suddenly the correct ones are installed.

Your's above Screenshot shows that you did not completely followed the instructions for Driver-Assigning. This remark only comes if you just use the first way and only entered the Path to the drivers, but not "Take software listed on this computer"
and next Step "Choose Driver for This Hardware from a List on this Computer" and then GT540 or (alternativ with unmarked checkbox) Nvidia.
That way as I described allows you to force Windows even to install (assign) an older driver (or a wrong one), whilest your given message appears if you use" inserting path for drivers" only. Then windows checks and only then says: "The best driver- software for your device is already installed".
