Medion Akoya e4410 ram issue

Hello I tried to upgrade ram using Crucial 16 gb dd4 SODIMM 2666MHZ but the computer doesn't post. The ram was after checked in another computer and it works fine. When I put back in the original 4 GB it works fine.

What is the problem? Compatibiliy issue? What RAM should I use?

Basically the specs of the RAM you bought are correct.

 They orig. are:

1x 4096 MB DDR4 SO-DIMM (PC4-21300 / 2666 MHz) (1/1 covered; 32 GB max.)

So you bought a 16 GB module of same specs

But it could be that the organization of the RAM chips is a bit different.

You are sure the RAM module was seated correctly?

So please post a link from your supplier, to check the specs of the new RAM.

Cheers, daddle

xx

@daddle

Hey, so the thing is I got the ram used. It came with the packaging though and on the packing it says CT16G4SFRA266

I am sure it seated correctly and it is not damaged because it works on my other laptop (zenbook ux410).

@zaraf

As I said, may be a different organization structure.
