Hello, i bought eight E4251, one for my father and others for work. My father's pc stopped powering on after some months, before that, it worked well. It seemed like the battery was gone, but did not power on even with power cable plugged. I succeeded in powering it on after some try of reset and holding power button. I don't know how. But now it works. Its battery was full when I powered it on, so it was not a problem of battery low. Really unusual.
Yesterday, two PC of mine did the same. But I cannot succeed on powering them on.
If I push power button they don't light any led. If I keep pressing nothing happens (tried for 30 and then 60 seconds - nothing).
If I reset them with the little hole backwards, then when I press Power button they light the led for about 2 seconds, then turn off, then light again for less thano a second, then die and if I press again they won't turn on.
The same if plugged or unplugged (it's about 6 hours one is plugged, it is not a problem of power (tried with many ppower supplies that work with other 6 pc).
Any idea? Maybe it's RAM broken and it tries to power than go to protection?

After many try. They power on only if I keep any key pressed. If I power on with any key pressed, then it boots but as soon as I pop the key, the PC makes a "click" and powers off!! HELP

Thanks. I tried to unplug, press for 60 seconds power, press for 30 seconds power, reset plug, retry, no. Then if I reset via the hole in the back, power on while I keep another key pressed with power on, it boots.
I press power on, and press another key with it. Then release power on and keep another key pressed. This way it boots. But if I stop pressing the second key the PC sounds like a little click and powers off instantly.
The problem is very strange. The same on 2 pc.
To reboot I must reset with the little hole in the back and then again it boots only if i keep a key pressed. If I don't it lights the led for 2 seconds, turns off the led, lights again the led for one second and then die. Only after the reset via the little hole I can reboot, but only if I keep a second key pressed. But if I release the key it shuts down instantly!!!
This is the same on 2 PC. Both Medion E4251. I have other 5 E4251 and they work. I change Power Supplies between them but it does not change anything. Power supplies are not defective for sure.
