E14409 Newest BIOS

Hello,

few months ago I bought a E14409 (MD62157) laptop with bios in 1.01 version. Is any newer version to download it and install on my computer?

Please could you supply te MSN number (8 digits long found on the underside of the unit)

This will help us fully identify the device and see if a new update is available.

An dis a there a specific reason why you need to update the BIOS? upgrading components? System has requested to?

As if it has no bugs or need to it is not advisable.

What is wrong with the Bios? Did you get problems with your Laptop? Otherwise  there is no need for an update.

This way with this Bios your Laptop was tested before delivery.

 Your Laptop is just a couple of month old. Some of my PCs or Laptops have a 10 yrs and older Bios, and still functioning perfect.. 

I do not understand the hype about wanting to always get the newest Bios; even better to get the future Bios from tomorrow already yesterday.  🙄

It seemed to me that the fan speed is too high even when the CPU was not under load. At the same time, the cooling system is cleaned and the thermal paste changed.
Perhaps such a problem was reported to the manufacturer and they fixed it in a newer bios version.

1.01 was the last version which was released the unit is now EOL and a newer version will not be available.
