Hello,
For a while my laptop has developed an issue which will cone on at no specific time when using it. The first I'll notice that something is wrong is that CAPS lock seems reverse but also other activities such as clicking on email seem to behave as if the ctrl button is being held down.
I did a windows reset which made no difference.
What suggestions are as to how this can be resolved, bar buying a new laptop. This device is nearly exactly a year old.
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Runs on Windows 10 Home
Thanks

Hi @kfzeiner ,
a few troubleshooting:
- try updating Windows to its latest version
- check if KB drivers are updated and if its status is "this device is working properly"
- When this issue happens again, try opening the on screen keyboard and check if the same issue happens when you press the same buttons on on-screen keyboard. It will help you assess if it is the hardware who triggers it.
if none of this work and your unit is still in warranty, please call the local technical support team and your unit will be sent to the workshop for further assessment.
