The Status-LED of your hotspot can light up red for various reasons:

• The SIM card is not activated and/or registered.
• You currently have no network reception from your provider at your location.
• The SIM card is not inserted correctly.

First, check if your SIM card works in your smartphone or tablet. Alternatively, you can also try another SIM card in your hotspot.

Please note that the SIM card supplied with the hotspot does not have a SIM pin. If you have subsequently set a SIM pin, you can enter it via the user interface of your hotspot to unlock the SIM card.
