How do I update the firmware for the MEDION P85731 (MD 90731) / MEDION P85770 (MD 90770) / MEDION P85774 (MD 90774) alarm system?

Proceed as follows:

Open the app and wait for the connection to the cloud.
Enter the admin pin at the alarm centre and confirm with Enter (bottom right).
Press the star key [CLR] (bottom left).
When the firmware update is offered in the display, press the 1 button to start it.
After 3 to 10 seconds, confirm the firmware update pop-up message in the app.
After a few seconds, if necessary, press the 1 button on the alarm control panel again to start.

The app then switches to update mode and after a few seconds the display of the alarm centre shows the download in percent (%). The duration of the update is at least 3 to 4 minutes, depending on the Internet connection. After successful download of the firmware, the system restarts automatically. You can then check the new firmware version in the device manager of the app.

Switch off the unit with the switch under the flap for 30 seconds and switch it on again.
Restart the app and log in there again.

Depending on the number of sensors present, it can take up to an hour until all the corresponding information has been exchanged and synchronised with the cloud. During this phase, the WLAN-LED flashes to indicate that data exchange is taking place. In this situation, the flashing should not be confused with a missing WLAN connection. As soon as the process is complete, the WLAN-LED lights up permanently again.

From time to time, the app seems to be inoperable for a short time. During this phase, however, all sensor events are still reported to the app. It automatically switches back to operating mode after a short time. With a restart of the app, it is immediately back in operating mode.
