password reset for UEFI Erazer DEPUTY P60i

Hello, i know there is a slim chance for this but still i ask : is there a way to reset the UEFI password for Erazer DEPUTY P60i?

   thanks in advance .

  P.S. - don't try to change the UEFI password after your anniversary - too much wine involved 😑

You can try the below-

Remove CMOS battery

Open the case and locate the small round CMOS battery on the motherboard.

Carefully remove it for 10–30 minutes then reinsert and boot.

NOTE: on many modern systems this does not clear a supervisor/UEFI password,

@Polo111

I am afraid you have  to send your Deputy in to Medion for service.

Good luck

    i know and i am the qualified specialist. unfortunatelly at the time i was the slightly drunk qualified specialist 😔

removing the cmos battery is not clearing the uefi pass.

thank you for taking your time to respond

  edit : fortunatelly for me, i have the habit to keep a logbook when im working . found the password there and the note  " at least you're not driving :)"
