crawler e25 m2 drive with heatsing will fit or no?

Im wondering to buy samsung 970 evo plus 2tb, but, if is possible.  would go on samsung 980 pro, but bare 980 will overheat for sure what about 980 pro version ps5 version with heatsing will it fit in case or not? Did someone try any manufacturer with their orginal heatsink?

THIS IS ONLY RELATED TO CRAWLER E25 ANY MODELS CAN HAVE DIFFERENT CASE HEIGHT

Thanks

In a laptop normally the parts are built in very crampy.

It depends how thick is the "heatsink" you want to apply? Some  are just a metalized foil, approx. 1.5 mm thick. These should fit. But check yourself inside your NB, how much place is left above the usually built in M.2 SSD.

Hello @popus_czy_to_ty
The 980 PRO with heat sink has a height of 8.6mm
980pro m. kühl..png
But it doesn't make much sense to install it because it doesn't get into the area where it needs to be cooled.

the 980 pro has Gen 4.0x4.  But your board has two M.2 SSD ports with Gen 3.0x4.

That means the 980 is not required at all and its speed is not achieved.

Hi Popus ,

you should state first the MSN number of your Crawler E25. It is printed on a sticker undernneath.

Samsung pro 980/990 comes with variant with heatsink and the funniest thing they are cheaper than evo series, but nowhere is mentioned heatsink height of them. Thats just 1 exaple, other manufacturers like crucial,wd they also have versions with heatsink
