Hi,
I was playing Forza Horizon 4 with my X6805 connected to my 1080p TV via HDMI. I noticed I was getting a lot of stuttering and frame drops.
I had just the external display selected so the laptop screen was off.
I normally get 60fps at 1080p on the laptop screen, but it seemed to be struggling with the 1080p TV.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
J

Hey @Jimster71,
What TV are you using and what resolution does it have? It may be that if your TV is running at a higher res, it will use more GPU and therefore cause FPS issues.

Hi,
The TV is a Sony Bravia 40" 1080p 60hz model, running in Game Mode.
I tried it again last night and the performance seemed ok. I'm wondering if it was to do with the order that things were done last time.
Cheers.

How powerful the graphics processor in the laptop is. You might notice a fall in performance, you might not.
