RAM question: I have a cpu speed of 2000mhz but I want to put a 16gb 3200mhz ram stick in, is it ok?

I have a crawler e30 md62547 and I want to put a ddr4 3200mhz sodimm 16 gb ram stick in, I want to know if this is ok for my laptop since my cpu goes at the speed of 2000mhz and also, will it fit? Thank you.

You can do that, even up to a maximum of 64 GB.
your current ram also has 3200MHz.
