I downloaded the new Control Center for my Medion Erazer x25 beast, and now the fast are not working properly anymore. When I want to set my own graph for the CPU I can barely edit it and it starts off all over the place. When I don't set my own graph the fan speeds stay at idle (31%) and dont go up even if the cpu is 95 degrees celcius. Does anyone know what I have to do?

Just to make sure that Control Center service is installed properly please follow this FAQ again: https://community.medion.com/t5/FAQs/How-do-I-get-back-missing-settings-options-in-Control-Center/ta...
Could you please give us more information about your notebook? MSN number? 300xxxxx?
Thanks.

Hello everyone and thanks for the feedbacks.
On 13.01.2022 the BIOS Update 1.26 was released via Windows Update. Since then, some users report unwanted effects like:
- Graphics card works with significantly reduced performance
- System reacts slowly.
- Fans run too slowly
- audio playback doesn't work or doesn't work properly
- various settings in the Control Center disappeared (e.g. no turbo mode available)
Due to these reports, the BIOS was initially taken offline again. Our technical department is currently investigating the background. In order to localize the error as quickly as possible, our colleagues still need additional information. Therefore I ask ALL users, who can or could observe one or more of the above mentioned effects since the installation of the BIOS update, to inform me about the following information:
1. eight-digit part number (MSN) of the notebook
2. BIOS version before the update (if still known)
3. currently used version of the Control Center (readable in the settings under "Apps")
4. currently used version of the Control Center service (readable in the settings under "Apps")
5. what is the effect on your notebook?
The more feedback I get, the better. I will pass on the information accordingly.
Greetings - Andi

HI guys, first thank you for beeing so active here.
Now im running 1.26 bios, before that the dgpu was working as it should.
Right now the dgpu is locked at GPU Clock : 201 MHz / Memory Clock : 101 MHz
Medion BEAST x25 MSN 30031969
Control Center 3.33.4.0
Control Center Service 3.1.4.0
I don't know what bios i was running before the update
The DMI-Patch fixed the problem with control center and now all the features are back as before
the only issue i have now is with the dgpu beeing locked
Should i roll back to bios v 1.23 and if so how can i do that safely ?
Thank you

So you had version 1.23 before the update?
Whether flashing back to an older version would help you, I don't know. Our technical department is currently investigating the causes. I hope for a quick solution so that experiments from your side should not be necessary.

No, I do not know what version of bios I had before the update.
By reading other threads in here ,I found the file for the v1.23 bios and I assume I probably had that. so nobody could tell me how to unlock my dgpu? To be honest I'm getting a bit frustrated here because it wasn't a cheap product and this issue is going for some time now..

Hi,
@niculescu_David and me are doing the downgrade to N1.23 and the dgpu is now back in normal condition.
So if someone is facing a similar issue downgrading to N1.23 may solve the issue. But before flashing a BIOS you should try all other options,
means using DMI-tool https://www.medion.com/at/service/product-detail/30032959
and following the FAQ https://community.medion.com/t5/FAQs/How-do-I-get-back-missing-settings-options-in-Control-Center/ta...
If you are going to downgrade your BIOS please make sure that the stored BIOS N1.26 informations are already deleted.
Open Device Manager, double click on "Firmware", right click on "American Megatrends INC System Firmware 1.26MED11", choose "Uninstall device", activate "Delete the driver for this device" on the next screen and click "Uninstall".
If you don't delete the stored BIOS files BIOS N1.26 will installed again on the next reboot if you do BIOS downgrade before.
If only "System Firmware" is available under "Firmware" you are fine already.

I had no sound and no microphone. This patch did indeed fix my problem. Thanks so much! And thanks to community member Quanwen who alerted me to it. I'd never have found it otherwise.
