CO2

Hello!

Does anyone has CO2 monitor at home together with an Air Purifier and noticed any difference? There are opinions that an air purifier should clear the air from CO2 in little to moderate way and there are opinions that they don't do it at all- but I don't have a way to actually verify it. Any one knows if a Air purifier does anything with CO2? I have Medion 10171.

Thanks for answers

Hello @Esther-T and welcome
The device MD10171 cannot bind/filter Co2.
it only has a Hepa H13 filter.
HEPA filters/suspended matter filters are used to separate suspended matter such as: B. viruses, aerosols, germs, toxic dust, etc.

@Esther-T

Hi Esther,

The air purifier only filters dust and spores etc from the air. But does not reduce gaseous components of the air composition.

How come you think it might reduce CO ²

Cheers, daddle

Some Internet articles say that air purifiers are cleaning the air from CO2. But upon more reading I'm coming to conclusion that besides earth and sea plant life, and maybe water... nothing else can do that.
