Hi daddle,
What i meant by that was that the boot menu was re ordered because i shorted the JBAT1 Pins. Since the hard drive was plugged in, the system attempted to boot from the hard drive(Which was empty) so i had to unplug it to boot into windows. This probably means that i can alter what drive(SSD or HDD) is first in the boot priority. Hope this helps!

@Planeman653

Thanks, thats more explicit and understandable. It's a sort of setting defaults, then of course the HDD at those days was  the first bootable device, except an optional Floppy in the  floppy drive.

I have no further idea.

May be flashing the latest Bios (which presumably has to be done in Windows 7) could help. You can use a WIn 7 bootstick, or a Dos Version, if you have the flashing tools for Dos as well.

@Hartilein  Do you know somne ways to enter Bios on this with Win 10 upgraded  machine with legacy bios?

Sorry!

With so many imponderables, unfortunately I can't give any helpful advice!

Best regards! Hartilein
