Hi @Chickenzxx

Please can you confirm the MSN number of your P10?

Thanks

Thanks @Chickenzxx

MSN 10024270 uses the ECS B560H6-EM2 mainboard which only has 1x M.2 slot  (for PCIe X4 NVMe SSD and Intel Optane module 2242, 2260 & 2280.

Are you trying to replace the 512GB M.2 with your Evo 970?

Thanks

The second M.2 slot is SATA support only

  • 1 x M.2 "M2_2" (SATA support only 2260 & 2280)

A quick search on the Evo 970 and its PCI-E not SATA

Thanks

The Mainboard ECS B560H6-EM  has only one slot for Intel Optane SSD  or other PCIe M.2 SSDs.

Only the mainboard ECS B560H6-EM V1.1  has two M.2 SSD ports; one PCIe or SATA and  one for SATA only.

--> https://community.medion.com/t5/FAQs/FAQ-Spezifikationen-Mainboard-quot-ECS-B560H6-EM2-V-1-1-quot/ta...

But there was a lot of confusion about the ECS B560H6-EM and the amount and character of M.2 SSD ports , with faulty MSN numbers of the mainboard, and still there is some confusion about it in the database.

@jodkr

You first must name the MSN Number of your PC. And best would be you could name the MSN number of the mainboard as well. And if there is a sticker on the mainboard, which states the version.

Bye, daddle
