Good Morning. I am new to this forum and I would like to know some details about my PC.
I have a Medion i7 computer. 12 RAM.
My motherboard H67H2-EM and it has 2 USB 3.0 connections. It has no pin 20 connection.
I want to expand new USB 3.0 and in all forms of expansion it connects from pin 20 of the motherboard that I do not have. My question is:
Do the motherboard's USB ports directly read USB drives or only serve as a power source? How do I connect PCIe from USB ports included in motherboard ?.
Thanks for accepting me in the forum.
Regards

Hi @cuchulain and welcome to the Forum!
Can you please provide me the MSN number of your machine?
It is an 8-digits number (often starting by 300 or 500) printed in the label underneath your product.

Hi. I forward data from my computer. I think it does not support photography and I send data. MSN does not appear but I send the rest of the data.
Greetings and thanks.

Hi @cuchulain ,
I think the best solution for you would be to have a USB 3 PCI-E 2.0 1x card.
Even though we can't recommend any third-party products, you should be looking for a product similar to the one on this link here.
To be safe, buy it from a seller that would accept returns and refunds.
