BIOS ?

Hello
Following an attempt to install win 10 I found myself with a bios problem. I had to try to fix it and on reboot nothing works. The pc turns on with 1 long and 2 short beeps (graphics problems I think?) my card runs and the fans but nothing on the screen. The latter is new (Medion) and everything was working properly before rebooting.
So I tried to reset the bios by removing the battery overnight and disconnecting the cable, but it was still the same (black screen and 3 beeps all the time).
I don't think my original graphics card (GF GTX 650) is burnt? But maybe it's disabled in the bios that I can't restart.
Is there another way to reset it? with jumper?
My PC Medion Akoya MSN 1001 6974
Motherboard MS7797 V1.1

Hi @Salii

the symptoms you have described " 1 long and 2 short beeps" can be a couple of things, a problem with the video card or the display. If you believe the GPU is ok then it maybe the display that is faulty. have you tested this? Regarding using a jumper on this board MSI MS-7797 V1.1 yes it is possible however due to the age of this unit (manufactured 2012) I cannot locate any images or where the pins are located to do this. So removing the CMOS battery for 5-10 mins is all I can advise for a BIOS reset

Windows 10 may have had compatibility issues??? are you able to reinstall the old OS you were using or original Win 8 to test?

sorry I have not been more helpful.

thanks

@Salii

 Thi s a pictture of your Mainboard. The Cmos reset jumper is mostly located on the lower part of the MB, or close to the CMOS battery in the right corner.

 This is a picture of your MB:

You also find it here under technical specs  -->  Mainboard

--> https://www.medion.com/de/service/product-detail/10016974

There you can copy it onto a  new browser page  and enlarge it.
