Hi, sorry for the late reply: this is my MSN code: MSN30034647 The laptop has Windows 11, and the problem is that Windows Update automatically installs old video drivers. When I manually update them with the drivers provided by Intel, Windows Update automatically downgrades to those old drivers, causing problems with some games and software, and others won't even start because they're almost 4 years old. I'll explain everything I did: - Formatted with F11 using Power Recovery - Windows Update installed all available drivers and updates. - Using the update assistant, I updated the installed version 22H2 (so a version that's been around for years) to version 25H2 (I use the update assistant because Windows Update no longer finds updates of this type for that version). - I checked for other updates And then I downloaded the updated drivers from the Intel website for the two video cards, but Windows Update then promptly downgraded the drivers to an older version, which, as already mentioned, is causing me problems because it's been around for years. What can I do to get out of this nightmare?
