@Josss    Read this please: Check first in Bios for I/O access. With my Laptop bios it is on the page Security -->  I/O Interface -->  USB  Interface. I can  lock the camera access separately. the same with Bluetooth, Card Reader etc,  LAN or WiFi  also. But not every Bios has this possibilities.   The other  question is if you activated the camera in Windows Settings. Go to settings --> search for camera -> Privacy settings  --> activate "Allow acccess to camera"; and second  on the same page -->  "Allow apps to  access your camera".   May be that helps.   daddle   Bye, daddle ...
