Hi all, My Erazer p6705 laptop was behaving perfectly until a few weeks ago when a couple of keys stopped working. As one of them was the W key I assumed that the keyboard had collapsed under the weight of my running away from monsters and zombies. I cleaned and airbkasted etc but with no joy. I sourced a genuine replacement keyboard and fitted it with very little trouble and to my joy full functionality was restored! Until a week later when windows pushed through a pair of updates and I noticed that a couple of keys had stopped working about 6 in total. Sadly windows refused to let me uninstall a feature update which seems to have been the culprit and I had no system restore point to call up which was before the update. Then another update and 26 keys stopped working! A system restore this time put me back to only having 6 non responsive keys. Currently I am using a small bluetooth keyboard. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and followed a dozen different 'How to fix this issue' guides on you tube and reddit, all with no success. Could this be a hardware issue? It seems unlikely as a system restore magically brought some keys back to life. Is anyone else experiencing any issues like this with windows updates?
