Hoi,   ik heb het op volgende manier kunnen oplossen (doe dit wel op eigen risico, als je de tv brickt is hij voor het stort):   Download: http://cdn.medion.com/downloads/software/Firmware_Full_Update_MD31555.zip Pak het bestand uit en je zal deze file zien: upgrade_image_no_tvcertificate.pkg  Rename die files naar MDS_upgrade_image_no_tvcertificate.pkg (dus voeg MDS_ toe) Kopiëer die file naar een USB stick die geformateerd is als FAT32 Trek de stekker van je TV uit Steek de USB stick erin (achteraan zijkant) Steek de stekker terug in Het updateproces zou nu moeten starten (duurt een tijdje) Als hij opnieuw opstart, zorg dat de USB stick eruit is (NIET tijdens updateproces doen)   Het dubbele scherm is weg, en je start terug van fabrieksinstellingen   Laat gerust iets weten of het is gelukt   ... Same, i just sent all the pictures, customer NO, serial NO etc...   Why do you think it is an Android software problem? It sure is a software/firmware problem, but it is Medion that prepares and publishes the firmware updates in my opinion?   The split screen also occurs on the cable/AV/satellite mode of the TV. Just had contact by phone with Medion Support BE which was very disappointing.  I have to wait 28 days more until someone can come and check at my home for the problem. There was no way they send me an update file/fix for USB restore.  I could also just go back to the store where i purchased the device and ask for my money back (i bought at Aldi and i'm pretty sure they will just redirect me back to Medion support). So very disappointed in customer service until now...    Since this looks like a global problem, i think Medion should really escalate this issue   PS: i checked my TV for updates 5 minutes ago and it says that the "Updates are temporarily not available", assuming they noticed the problem and trying to prevent the issue to other people with this device. We can only hope this as it would mean they are investigating the problem? ... Meer weergeven

For the record, i tried this weekend to get this fixed but did not manage to do. Things i found out:   1) I was able to enter 'Safe Mode' for the TV which would, according to documentation, be able to load an update through USB but that did not work out (tried two different usb sticks formatted to FAT32). My TV did say safe mode on the bottom left corner. Unplugging the tv, holding OK button and plug in TV. It did make my TV turn on automatically into safe mode but that was all it did   2) Tried 1000 of codes to enter the service menu (attention: use at own risk) of that type of TV. Found out the MD31555 is in fact a VESTEL TV and this code works: When TV is on, press INPUT and then 4 7 2 5. This will unlock a special menu that has more diagnostic features. I read on the internet that some TVs have an option "Panel Settings" to fix such double screen issue but no luck in our model's menu 😞 I will contact Medion Belgium support this morning and hope a real fixed is offered soon...   ... Yes but armada forwarded his fix and it seems we have to install this update http://cdn.medion.com/downloads/software/Firmware_Full_Update_MD31555.zip   Type is the same so I think this might also fit for mine ... Meer weergeven
